Numismatics is the study or collection of currency, including coins, tokens, paper money, and medals while philately is the study of postage stamps and postal history.

Today we discover the world of numismatics and philately with co-founder of Trigometric, Hann Boom. Hann co-founded Trigometric 20 years ago with his father, in a country where numismatics & philately was striving but still new in the world market.

Established in 2002, Trigometric’s first gallery specialised in premium collectible vintage banknotes & coins, along with stamps. With humble origins at the time, it was the first of its kind in large scale collectibles trading in Malaysia. Fast forward to the present, Trigometric is now the largest Collectibles Auctioneer in Malaysia and is also the organiser of the Kuala Lumpur International Numismatic Fair, the largest numismatic show in Malaysia. 

Today, Trigometric is deemed in the eyes of many to be the foremost expert in numismatics in Malaysia.
