‘crying in the shower’ is a 3-track emotionally-charged EP from MFMF., featuring yuji, yedira and asheu - who are undeniably Malaysia’s most impressive and hyped about emerging indie artistes on the internet.

This EP takes you on a timeline of a relationship breaking down, through the passive-aggressive lens of a problematic man. Beginning with track 1, ‘oh no (feat. yuji)’, where he notices the start of his relationship crumbling and pleads for conversation. Followed by the denial stage illustrated in track 2, ‘tick tock (feat. yedira)’, where he desperately chooses avoidance and finds ways to weaponize accountability instead. A song for those who “just want things back to normal” without wanting to do any repair work. 

The EP then wraps up with the delusional track 3, ‘it’s you (love of my life) (feat. asheu)’, where the protagonist gaslights the audience with his lullaby-like melodies but his words reveal the end of their relationship where she has already moved on, but he’s still hung up on her.
