Violet Evergarden, a former soldier returned from war, comes to teach at a women's academy and changes a young girl's life.

Last years Violet Evergarden captivated fans with its downright breathtaking animation – winning the Best Animation Award at the 2019 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. 

Violet Evergarden series was one of the most critically successful anime releases of 2018, and fans have been wanting to see more of the anime ever since the first season came to an end. 

They'll soon get their wish with two major film projects. The first is a side-story in which Violet Evergarden meets a young woman who continues to feel like she's trapped in her noble house and rules. 

Titled Violet Evergarden : Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll.

Violet Evergarden - Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll  was completed the day before the devastating arson attack on Kyoto Animation in July, and it stands out as the first Kyoto Animation work to be released in the wake of that tragedy.
