In the upcoming final week of September, Sasana High School Eurythmy Theatre by EURYTHMY THEATRE will bring the famous storytelling to all the fans. This shows mainly highlights a number of themes from THE LORD OF THE RINGS, such as friendship, the conflict between good and evil, the misuse of power, the preservation of nature, and the pursuit of enlightenment. We shall travel with Frodo on his quest to slay the Ring in the Mountain of Fire under the direction of a storyteller. We will see the Black Riders on Weathertop Mountain, as well as Sméagol, Treebeard, Gandalf, Strider, and many other well-known characters, during the play.

Pandamonium 2 Exhibition

Pandamonium 2 is a continuation of the Pandamonium series, which comprises 20 panda caricatures in a pandemonium style. The 20 pandas are part of an art installation that will be on display at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre for the full month of September 2023.

Began in 2012, The Birdian Saxophone Quartet's Chamber Wind Project is returning with its 6th edition, bringing together five distinguished local wind ensembles - Birdian Saxophone Quartet, Charmers, Asteri Flute Quartet, Claritopia, and Brass5ive - to present you with an eclectic choice of musical taste through wind repertoire. They are on a great musical feast, selected by each individual band - a fair blend of arrangements on classical tunes and pop hits, and also a big accent on displaying the local original works that are entirely written for the setting.

The Dance Box Series was created as a series of monthly dance events organised to exhibit a variety of dance, including work by less established, more experimental choreographers. It later evolved into a mixed bill performance showcasing works in progress, experimental works by established artists, and new works by rising artists. This shows will be featuring choreography by Steve Goh, who is from Kwang Tung Dance Company, Albert Sigan, Anak Saliman, Mohammad Nazrul Bin Munir, Chai Vivan, Chan Kar Kah, Aramy Rasyid bin Mohamed.

The story describes JEBAT's life and sad demise in a post-apocalyptic Malaysia where continual violence and strife prevail. It depicts the dilemma of Hang Tuah's commitment to his ruler as opposed to Jebat's quest for freedom, love, and respect. The tragedy culminates in a heartbreaking scenario in which the two characters fight to the death. There will be around 40 performers on stage performing to specially composed live music, with a mix of silat and mixed martial arts battle scenes, incredible sets and costumes, multimedia design and more.
