The Daikin Festival brings people together, fostering harmony and celebrating diversity with a vibrant array of cross-cultural activities.

Daikin Malaysia, a renowned leader in advanced air conditioning solutions, organized a community-focused event promoting unity and cultural harmony. Held at the Daikin Malaysia Headquarters, the celebration seamlessly blended elements of Japanese and Malaysian cultures, providing attendees with an enriching experience. 

The event was graced by Guest of Honour, Raja Muda Selangor, Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj, who officially inaugurated this special gathering. Prominent guests included YB Datuk Dr. Ab Halim Tamuri (Member of Paya Jaras State Assembly), YB Mohd Rafiq Mohd Abdullah (Member of Kuang State Assembly), and Mr. Fang Yuan (Chairman of Daikin).

The festival was a gesture of appreciation towards employees and a means of strengthening connections with the nearby communities in Sungai Buloh. Daikin Malaysia's dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and local involvement was showcased during the event. The festival emphasized Daikin Malaysia's commitment to CSR, underscoring its aim to create a positive impact beyond just air conditioning solutions. Within the framework of CSR initiatives, donations were extended to various schools and orphanages in Sungai Buloh to aid in their operations. The festival brought together employees, local schools, and orphanages, embodying a spirit of giving back and fostering significant transformations within the communities. The event encompassed a wide range of activities, kicking off with a lively Yosakoi performance that illuminated Japanese culture. 

This was followed by an enthralling silat presentation by RumahKasih Harmoni Paya Jaras, showcasing Malaysia's rich martial arts heritage and facilitating cultural exchanges. Collaborating with Les Copaque Production, renowned for the beloved Upin & Ipin series, the event featured special appearances by Upin & Ipin mascots and Pichonkun, much to the delight of the children present. Attendees enthusiastically participated in coloring activities themed around Upin & Ipin and Pichonkun, further reinforcing the collaborative spirit of the event.

Additionally, guests had an exclusive opportunity to meet and greet Selangor Football Club players, highlighting football's unifying influence across demographics. This initiative aligns with Daikin Malaysia's commitment to promoting an active lifestyle and fostering a well-connected, healthy community through sports.
