Kuala Lumpur, 11 July 2017 – Juiceco Malaysia, the first fruit juice store of its kind locally, was officially launched in Bangsar. Renowned Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan also extended her glamorous footprint and made an appearance at the grand launch of Juiceco.  

Juiceco is Malaysia’s largest fruit juice store and it will be serving up a variety of more than 200 unique, fun, preservative-free fruit and vegetable juices, blends, smoothies, milk shakes and specialty juices. The drinks range from RM5 to RM15 per cup.

At the grand launch of Juiceco Malaysia, Kareena Kapoor Khan (middle) and Directors from Vitamin Palace Sdn Bhd cheered with Juiceco’s signature drinks to commemorate the joyful occasion.

“We are thrilled to make our first endeavor into the Southeast Asian market. We could not have found a better location for our first store than Bangsar which attracts an eclectic crowd because Juiceco has a drink to suit every palate, whether it is something healthy or indulgent. Customers will find a good range, be it the traditional orange juice to unique innovative options using local fruits like bananas, pineapples and dragon fruits,” said Mr Zainul Abidin bin Muhammad Kutty, Director of Vitamin Palace Sdn Bhd.

Juiceco Malaysia store also features a unique and innovative fresh fruits décor in-store to give patrons a rejuvenating experience as they enjoy their choice of beverage.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, otherwise fondly known as Bebo by her fans, had this to say at the grand launch, “I am very excited to be here at the launch of Juiceco Malaysia. I had the opportunity to taste a mix of Juiceco’s range of juices, and I love them all but my ultimate favourite is the signature drink, the Jamaica. It is a fruity mix of mango, banana, apple, carrot and pineapple, and topped with ice cream!”. This was Kareena’s third visit to Malaysia.  

Juiceco is owned and managed by Vitamin Palace from the Middle East. Vitamin Palace opened its doors to all things healthy about 40 years ago with the aim to promote a healthy living lifestyle through its chain of health and juice bars. Juiceco Malaysia is Vitamin Palace’s first foray into Southeast Asia. Currently, Vitamin Palace has a staff force of 600 located in more than 30 outlets around the GCC countries (Gulf Cooperation Council consisting of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates).

With 200 types of juices for Malaysia, Juiceco aims to add more stores and to share more fun with everyone. There are plans by Vitamin Palace Sdn Bhd to open 3 to 5 outlets within the next 12 months within Klang Valley, while considering other populated areas in states like Johor and Penang too.  

As part of the promotional effort to commemorate the launch of Juiceco Malaysia, a social media contest was organised prior to the opening and 40 social media winners were chosen for a meet-and-greet with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Each winner was rewarded with a Juiceco goody bag comprising a t-shirt, a mug and RM20 vouchers valid from 15 July to 31 August 2017.

Kareena Kapoor Khan extended her glamorous footprint in Malaysia and signed a Juiceco t-shirt which will be displayed at the store.
