Casio Malaysia has released the Chinese New Year edition of the G-Shock in Malaysia. The two models GM-5600CX-4DR and GM-6900CX-4DR are now available at G- Factory, G-Shock stores and authorised dealer store nationwide.
Based on the metal cover G-SHOCK GM-5600 and GM-6900 series, the Chinese New Year editions are designed in auspicious red and lustrous gold to celebrate the special occasion. Resin bands combine with stainless steel bezels that are forged, cut, and polished in ways that give each model its own distinctive feature. The hairline finish on the top surface of the GM-5600CX bezel and its matte red band reduce the overall lustre of this model. The GM-6900CX, on the other hand, uses a glossy red finish that enhances the lustre of its face and band.
Case Back Engraving and Special Packaging
The case back of the two models are engraved with a logo designed by artist Shan Jiang, based on the zodiac symbol for an Ox. The models also come with a special red box packaging that symbolises luck in the Chinese culture and with gold lettering to match the watch design.
