World Urban Forum 9 on AFO LIVE

The World Urban Forum is organised by UN Habitat every two years as a complement to the Habitat Conferences that are held every 20 years. The primary aim of the Forum is to promote the creation of sustainable development globally and more recently, the implementation of the New Urban Agenda.

Kuala Lumpur will host WUF9 from 7-13 February 2018 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the first such forum since Habitat III was held in Quito in 2016. UN Habitat expects the Forum to attract 20,000 participants, with half coming from abroad. The theme for WUF9 is Cities for All. For the first time ever, alongside the KLCC Events, there is also the introduction of the WUF9 Village.

Our friends at Think City are proud to be apart of the World Urban Forum and they have lined up a host of activities all throughout the duration of the forum. So from a prototype of communal living, to talks, seminars, screenings and a marketplace. There's so much to see and do from the 7th - 13th February at the city centre.
