Tea Time with MAG with Survive with Dignity

While you complete your tasks while working from home, allow MAG to entertain you and keep you updated on some interesting initiatives that are happening in our backyard. Tea Time with MAG hopes to keep information light hearted and fun during your tea-break. Watch or just listen and if you have questions, you are more than welcomed to forward them during the show.

On the 28th April, join MAG on Tea Time with MAG as she speak to the Honorary Consulate of Hungary, Dato' Damien Chua, the Founder of Survive with Dignity.

Survive with Dignity was initiated by the Honorary Consulate of Hungary that formed a team with volunteers and restaurants to provide at least one meal a day to daily wages workers, the unemployed, poor families and etc.

Each meal only cost RM 4 and with the support from the public, the vulnerable groups can survive with dignity.

The project which started on the island of Penang is now also available on the mainland, with the number of kitchens being increased from 1 to 6 and meals provided gradually increased to nearly 1,000 meals per day compared to only 50 meals per day at the very beginning.

As of today, more than 12,000 meals have been provided.
